On the rear panel of the Manet Box George Deem refers to Manet's 1874 painting The Monet family in Their Garden at Argenteuil. Madame Monet in a white dress and hat is seated on the grass to the right. The man in a blue shirt to her right is Claude Monet, gardening, with his watering pail behind him.
