I have a new acrylic painting on paper. It looks like a Spanish wall hanging from 42nd Street. It has Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, Roosevelt, and Hoover in one row, me, Picasso, Degas, and Delacroix in the second row and St. Bernadette, St. Catherine and St. Carthusian in the last row. Any space you can think of that has no portrait has a bold embroidery design. It is rather lovely and Roosevelt looks like
David Tudor, and Ronald (Vance) said she (Jean Rigg) doesn't remember him (Roosevelt) and I said she does even though she's too young because she's older than her years. (George Deem, letter to Jean Rigg, January 21, 1971).
