November. A Vincennes artist, George Deem, Jr., son of George Deem of 426 Church Street, has a fine painting, "Pink Chair," hanging in a current exhibition of the works of members of the Alumni Association of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The exhibition will continue through Nov. 20 at the Johnson Galleries, 424 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Mr. Deem is a senior in the School of the Art Institute, and his painting has attracted much favorable comment, according to Mary Bornarth, president of the Alumni Association.
