Jean-Nol Laszlo, 46 rue Castillon, 83000 Toulon, France, sent George Deem an invitation to take part in a Mail Art exhibition in Toulon (June 18 to July 11. 1986) on the theme "Prison is made of the others." George made a collage, Buildings with book tossed out window, 1986, which he mailed to Jean-Nol Laszlo May 17, 1986. The collage is reproduced in the exhibition catalogue.
Jean-Nol Laszlo sent George Deem a photocopy of his drawing Mona Lisa Washington Beuys, hommage a Joseph Beuys, May 5, 1988. In this work Laszlo drew a hat on a postcard image of George Deem's Mona Lisa Washington, 1972.
George Deem sent photocopy images of Buildings with book tossed out window and Poinsettia with pink stripe, June 11, 86, to the Mail Art Exhibition "A Flower for Peace" at the Biblioteca Communale, Pescia, Italy, September 6 - 30, 1986. The works in the exhibition became part of the Centre of Graphic Documentation of the Public Library of Pescia.
George Deem exhibited photocopy images of Buildings with book tossed out window and Poinsettia with pink line (sic) in the International Art By Mail Exhibition celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Fluxus, N.A.M.E. Gallery, 361 West Superior, Chicago. "Exhibition will be Donated to an Archive."
