George Deem referred to the work by the title "Poinsettia & pink line" in his note to the exhibition file for An International Art By Mail Exhibition Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Fluxus, N.A.M.E. Gallery, Chicago, June 11, 86. In his note on the same date to the file for the Mail Art Exhibition "A Flower for Peace" at the Biblioteca Comunale, Pescia, September 6-30, 1986, George Deem referred to the work by the title "pointsettia (sic) with pink stripe," which is taken to be the title of the work.
