Woman with Still Life. The woman is a portrait of a woman by the Flemish painter Robert Campin who was the teacher of Rogier van der Weyden. The still life is my breakfast table in Italy, with my morning coffee. (George Deem, June 1, 1978. Note written for An Exhibition of Paintings by George Deem, June 12 - July 8, 1978 at Merida Gallery, Louisville, Kentucky).
George Deem's description of the painting before he gave it a title was "Still Life on the Head 70 x 40"
