Lady of Spain. (Gail Rutherford) April 1972
Lady of Spain. I met Gail Rutherford in Spain. She showed me what Spanish black shadow painting is, and she fed me black olives. Now Gail Rutherford lives and paints in Toronto and still feeds me black Spanish olives. (George Deem, June 1, 1978. Note written for an exhibition of paintings by George Deem at the Merida Gallery, Louisville, Kentucky, June 12 - July 8, 1978).
Note. Ambika Gail Rutherford in 2011 lives in Prince Edward Island. (Ronald Vance, 29 June 2011).
